On a different planet in a far away galaxy is a planet conquered by a race similar to humans. The planet, Sarodla, is an exact copy of Earth, a parallel dimension world in our dimension, if you will, except for one, major difference: Powers. The humans of Sarodla each have magic after they pass the Youngling Years (below five years old) and move onto the Apprentice Years (five years old). During the Apprentice Years, they learn to control and strengthen their magic, but of course they aren't perfect at first, and never will be. Only the leader of each of the five unique tribes have even come close to perfecting their magic and are often more powerful than the rest of their Tribemates.
After the Apprentice Years comes the official rank of a Member of their tribe (18 years old). They continue to serve their tribe until death.
Each of the five tribes were separated on a cold day many many years before. All the people live in one giant tribe, always bickering about who possessed more strength. One day, at the moon's peak, a great battle broke out and many were killed. Only ten lived, with five males and five females, a male and female with an ability: control over water, fire, weather, terrain, or nature. They agreed to separate into five tribes by their talents and gained members slowly over the years.
Laws were gathered and leaders selected, and soon the Tribes of Elements came to be as it is today.
